- Conducting research on edge AI deployment and lightweight language model (SLM/LLM) inference optimization for resource-constrained communication environments.
- Investigating system-level requirements for AI integration in special communication networks, including underwater acoustic and polar satellite relay scenarios.
- Developing and maintaining open research prototypes: llmrc (Rust-based local LLM runtime) and ml-engine (C++/LibTorch inference pipeline).
